Research on the prevalence and correlates of adult ADHD. Results include an estimated prevalence of current adult ADHD at 4.4%, and correlates such as being male, unemployed, and previously married. Many ADHD adults are untreated for their disorder, yet many are treated for other comorbid mental and substance disorders that they may have in addition to ADHD.
