When you have ADHD, weak information is expensive. A glossy site can talk you into a costly supplement that does little, or scare you away from treatment that would help. Government guidance can shift with each administration, leaving you unsure what still holds. And anything funded by a drug maker carries a built-in incentive to favor its product. The cost is not abstract: misinformation delays diagnosis, drains money, and deepens the self-doubt that already follows you. Knowing which sources to trust protects all three.
