The impact of ADHD on learning creates complex and often multi-faceted barriers to learning and life functioning. Often, the cumulative effect of academic distress creates mental health as well as academic issues, which can ultimately diminish one’s overall ability to attain success. It is too often the story of those with ADHD that they feel like they have not been able to actualize their potential and perform in a way that reflects their true ability and intelligence.
