 The Who, What, When and How of the DSM-5 Task Force

 Why the DSM-5 changes are important to patient care

 Proposed changes to the ADHD subtype distinctions (Combined, Predominantly Inattentive, etc)

 Proposed changes in symptom criteria for recognizing ADHD in adults

 Proposed changes in criteria for conditions that may be comorbid with ADHD – e.g. Bipolar Disorder

 Elimination of Pervasive Developmental Disorder as an exclusionary criterion
